The Site is intended to help readers identify issues, understand common terms, locate public resources, and organize additional research.
Site content is general by design. It cannot account for every fact, document, party, deadline, exception, defense, local rule, insurance policy, or court decision that may affect an individual situation.
No Legal Services or Attorney-Client Relationship
The Site does not provide legal advice, legal representation, professional advice, or emergency assistance. Use of the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, professional relationship, or duty of representation.
Contacting Jeffco Injury Law by email, telephone, voicemail, or any other method does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not guarantee a response, review, consultation, referral, or acceptance of any matter. Do not rely on the Site or a message sent through Site contact information to preserve a legal right, satisfy a deadline, notify an insurer, file a claim, or request urgent help.
Permitted Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful personal, educational, and informational purposes. You may link to public pages on the Site in a manner that is accurate, non-misleading, and does not suggest endorsement, sponsorship, legal representation, or affiliation where none exists.
You may print or save a reasonable number of Site pages for your own personal reference, provided that you do not remove notices, misrepresent the source, or use the material in a way that violates these terms or applicable law.

User Communications and Submitted Information
If you email, call, leave a voicemail, or otherwise communicate using contact information published on the Site, you are responsible for the information you choose to provide. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial-account information, passwords, complete medical records, original documents, detailed litigation strategy, or other highly sensitive or confidential material through ordinary email or voicemail.
You represent that you have the right to provide any information you submit. You grant Jeffco Injury Law permission to review, store, use, and respond to your communication for ordinary Site-related purposes, including responding to questions, reviewing corrections, evaluating source suggestions, addressing accessibility concerns, maintaining records, and protecting Site security.
Jeffco Injury Law is not required to respond to every communication, preserve unsolicited materials indefinitely, return materials, or treat unsolicited communications as confidential except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, Site content, organization, page structure, written materials, headings, summaries, and other original elements are owned by or licensed to Jeffco Injury Law and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Government materials, court materials, statutes, public records, datasets, and third-party resources remain subject to their own ownership, license, public-use, and attribution rules.
No ownership rights are transferred to you by using the Site. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell, license, or commercially exploit Site content except as allowed by these terms, by applicable law, or by written permission.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact Jeffco Injury Law with the page URL, the specific material at issue, your contact information, and an explanation of the claimed right or concern.
Third-Party Links, Sources, and Resources
The Site links to government agencies, courts, transportation resources, public datasets, professional resources, news sources, and other third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience, attribution, additional context, or further research.
A third-party link does not mean Jeffco Injury Law controls, endorses, sponsors, verifies, or accepts responsibility for that third party’s content, services, security, privacy practices, availability, or legal terms. Review the current terms, privacy policy, official instructions, and update dates of any third-party resource before relying on it.
Accuracy, Availability, and Changes to Content
Reasonable efforts are made to publish useful and accurate information, but the Site does not guarantee that content is complete, current, error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose. Laws, court decisions, agency procedures, forms, official websites, datasets, insurance practices, and local resources can change without notice.
Jeffco Injury Law may add, remove, revise, reorganize, redirect, or discontinue Site content at any time. Publication of a page does not guarantee that the page will remain available or unchanged.
Privacy and Technical Information
Use of the Site may involve collection of technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, date and time of access, security logs, and similar operational data. Communications you voluntarily provide may also be received and processed.
The Privacy Policy explains current information practices, including what may be collected, how information may be used, and how to contact the Site about privacy questions.
Relationship to Other Site Policies
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Site. The Legal Disclaimer explains important limits concerning educational content, legal advice, attorney-client relationships, deadlines, communications, third-party links, results, and warranties. The Privacy Policy explains information practices.
If a more specific Site policy addresses a particular issue, that policy should be read together with these terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific policy controls for that issue to the extent permitted by applicable law.
No Warranties and Limitation of Responsibility
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jeffco Injury Law disclaims warranties concerning accuracy, completeness, currentness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, availability, security, and freedom from errors or harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jeffco Injury Law will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from use of the Site, reliance on Site content, inability to access the Site, use of third-party links, user communications, unauthorized access, technical interruption, or decisions made without advice appropriate to the circumstances. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to every user.
Governing Law
To the extent a governing-law rule is needed for use of the Site, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires a different result. Use of the Site from another location is at the user’s own initiative and subject to the user’s responsibility to comply with applicable local law.
Changes to These Terms
Jeffco Injury Law may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in the Site, technology, operations, applicable law, or related policies. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
